Translation & Transmission PART 2

Week 9 (17/10/2021)
So far, I have digitalized the 3 character designs to be printed out and cut. The paper I will be using are art card (300gsm) as I thought the thickness for it was what I wanted to act as the base for the other decorations that will be pasted on it later. After cutting out the cards, I used a black marker to make the outlines of the characters and its features. I found that it also helped make the cut edges look cleaner.

After I'm done with cutting out and outlining the characters, I printed out the questions that are suppose to be for the back of the cards. There are six questions in total people are required to answer. I test printed out some of the questions to be fitted for the back of the character cards as I fear that the text would be too small but it seemed fine, so I proceeded with the initial idea. Before that I also printed out some questions onto a normal small square piece of paper at first as I was also worried about the sizing and spacing is not enough on the characters.

I couldn't print on the art card itself as it was too thick, so I printed the questions onto A4 paper first, then later cut them out to fit each character. To make the back where the questions are look more neat and tidy, I also outlined it with black marker.

One of the items that will be pasted onto the character itself will be 'weapons' which will be held by the character's hand. For that part, I made it so that the hands of each character cards can be popped open partially to make it look like they're actually holding the weapons itself.
