Translation & Transmission PART 2

Week 8 (10/10/2021) ​

This week I've finally created the 6 questions that are suppose to go onto the back of the character cards. I've also bought a few materials for my character template/cards. I got some 300gsm matte art card for that only to realize after that buying that I wanted the card to have color. So, after that I tried using watercolor on color the art card. It didn't work out as the card was slightly crumpled by having the water on it. What bothered me most was that the brush strokes were visible.

I have yet to try out other methods of coloring but next I would try using soft pastels just to see how it would work out. Another idea I thought of to color was using ink pads. Ink pads normally come in blue or red, which is close to the colors I wanted so I'd have to purchase that next. As the card is 300gsm, it couldn't fit into a normal printer. The back of the character templates will have 6 questions where people would have to answer in order to 'create' their character. In order to 'print' the questions onto the card, I thought of making a template of the questions then using the ink from the ink pad to 'print' it on. Not so much has been done this week so I would have to pick up the pace..
