The Colors of Harajuku is features a character, Yuri, who
has a normal office day job just like everyone else. During her free time,
she loves to dress up in different Harajuku inspired styles as its a way for
her to express herself. Its her way of escaping from her daily stress filled
work where she could act however she pleases and dress however she feels.

These illustrations purpose are to show people that other than the good
food, sceneries and nature in Japan, there are a lot more unique fashion styles
aside from the beautiful kimonos that everyone knows of. The illustrations focuses
on the fashion styles on the streets of Harajuku, a place that was deemed to be a 
trend setting area of Japan. Among the many fashion styles that exists there, three 
of the styles were picked and used as inspiration for the illustrations. Enjoy!
